Flexible Booking System

We try hard to keep our waiting lists short and to allow for flexibility in booking whilst giving you plenty of time for each consultation.

Our whole team works together behind the scenes to arrange your appointments and support our dentists, therapists, hygienists and advisors in giving you dedicated time and in focussing on your care during your appointments.

We try to keep our waiting lists at an optimum level so we can give each consultation the time it deserves and to offer short waiting times.  Most patients like to complete a course of treatment as quickly as possible without big gaps between appointments.  We will try to accomodate your needs as far as possible.

Short Notice Appointments

If you are able to visit us at short notice please let us know.  We operate a cancellation list and can contact you if extra time becomes available in the appointment diary and may be able move your appointment forward.

Changing Appointments

There are times when you may need to rearrange or cancel an appointment. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can rearrange your visit/s and offer your appointment to someone else.

Please respect our appointment system and give us at least 24 hours notice* if you are unable to attend, particularly if you have booked for a complex procedure. Surgery time is valuable to enable us to keep waiting time for appointments to a minimum and to allow us to see patients in times of emergency and keep our fees affordable.

Missed Appointment Charge

We don’t make a missed appointment charge if we receive appropriate notice of a cancellation or rearrangement of appointments (at least 24 hours on working days for short appointments and at least 36 hours on working days for long appointments over half an hour).

Surgery time is valuable to enable us to keep waiting time for appointments to a minimum and to allow us to see patients in times of emergency.  Good appointment management also helps us to keep our fees affordable for everyone.

Text Message Reminders

If you give us your mobile number we can send you a text message reminder in advance of your visit.

If you don’t have a mobile number we usually try to give personal phone call reminders for hygienist/therapist appointments (this service cannot be guaranteed).
